I’m currently in my last year of university, and the mythical “real world” is just around the corner, and I’m realizing that I’m not only no where near ready for it to come, but also realizing I have no real world experiences. University’s supposed to prepare you for the real world, but in what real world do people write persuasive essays to express how they feel? Or come across words like spectacularization, or phantasmagoric, or neoliberalized? Even Microsoft Word doesn’t consider them words…
How do you explain yourself? I’m anxious, absurd, and sometimes too attention seeking. I’m self-conscious, honest, and often say the most inappropriate thing at the absolute worst time. I’m the funniest person I know, but simultaneously full of self-doubt.
And I let that all out.
